I'm a geophysicist working on natural hazards — mostly volcanoes and earthquakes. My job is turning messy geophysical data into probabilistic answers to practical questions: How likely is an eruption? What's happening beneath the surface? I combine physics-based models with statistical and machine learning methods, and I care a lot about the last mile — getting results out of research code and into tools, dashboards, and monitoring systems that people actually use to make decisions.
